Barcelona football chief Eric Abidal has confirmed their interest in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

The Argentine has a €111m buyout clause in his contract and Abidal admits a summer move is being considered.

He told Sport: "I just have to do my homework, anticipate decisions, always be aware of what is going on in other clubs and from there try to convince the player.

"It will be my job, so if the financial side tells me if it can be done, it will be done, if not, we will have to find another player.

"Yes, yes, but there are others that I like. In his position, he is now part of the five or six best players in the world."
