Barcelona presidential candidate Lluis Fernandez Ala has hopes of bringing Pep Guardiola back to the club.

While Guardiola has shut down talk of being a factor in next month's Barca election by penning new terms with Manchester City, Ala insists there'll always be room for the Catalan in his administration.

Ala said on Esport3: "We know that Guardiola will like our project.

"I hope he will come back. I didn't mention it but it would be a dream for him to come back. The door will always be open for Guardiola."
