Barcelona bring forward Fati contract talks as Man Utd plan THIRD bid

Manchester United are in contact with Jorge Mendes about reviving a move for Barcelona superkid Ansu Fati.

United have had two offers turned down by Barca this year, the first in January and the second before the season restart. United's second was for a fee rising to €150m, with Barca president Jose Maria Bartomeu referring them to Fati's €170m buyout clause.

Sport says United are now seriously considering a third push for Fati after growing tired of Borussia Dortmund's negotiating tactics over Jadon Sancho. Should BVB refuse to drop their €120m valuation for Sancho, United will try again for Fati.

While Mendes doesn't formally represent the Barca whiz, he is close to the family and has told them he can land Ansu a move to Old Trafford if he wants it.

Knowing United's plans, Barca are now set to bring forward new contract talks with the Fati family, which would include hiking up his buyout clause to €300m.
