Manchester City's Nolito has heaped praise on Barcelona manager Luis Enrique ahead of this week's Champions League between the clubs.
The 30-year-old played under Enrique in the Barca B setup until 2011 before linking up with the Spanish great at Celta Vigo from 2013 until 2016.
“Luis Enrique appeared at a moment when I was either going to take a step forward or a step back," he said in an interview with the Daily Mail as he prepares to face his former mentor at the Camp Nou on Wednesday night.
“He also made me see football in a different way.
“I was there for three years with him and then I played for him again at Celta. He is someone in football I'm very fond of."
