Jose Arnaiz is fast building a reputation for himself at Barcelona.

The young striker, having been signed for €3.4m from Real Valladolid, scored for Barca B against Real Oviedo on the weekend.

There are already calls for Arnaiz to be promoted to the first team, particularly given Ousmane Dembele's injury setback.

Barca B coach Gerard Lopez stated: "If we had not signed him, he would have gone to Real Madrid or Juventus.

"He is a very important bet of the club. A significant investment, but he is giving an immediate return."

Gerard added: "I see a bright future and his signing seems a success."
