Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati ready for his comeback against Levante

Barcelona attacker Ansu Fati is ready for his comeback game against Levante on Sunday.

With the team struggling, particularly in attack, and having lost both Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann in the summer, having Ansu Fati back and playing like he was before his injury would be a dream scenario that could make a massive difference to their prospects this season. The player himself is as excited as anyone.

"I'm really grateful to all the fans, I feel very loved and that helps with the recovery," Ansu Fati said.

"I'm really looking forward to repaying that faith they have put in me, to returning to the Camp Nou. It's going to be like the day of my debut.

"It's been almost two years without being able to play in front of a crowd, so it will be very special for me. I hope to be able to give the fans a good showing."

Ansu Fati also feels the time out has been a learning process and helped him mature and appreciate the small things.

"The first days were difficult, I didn't want to accept it but it is what it was. I had to accept it," he explained.

"It's over now and I'm looking forward to being able to enjoy playing again more than ever.

"After going through that, you appreciate the small things more; being able to train with my teammates again was a special day for me. I'm very happy to be involved and available again."

Much is expected of the Spain international on his return, as seen in the fact that the club didn't hesitate to hand him Lionel Messi's still warm No.10 shirt. Ansu Fati is embracing the increased responsibility he'll find when he gets back out on the park.

"[The No.10 shirt] is an honour for me, I want to thank the club for the opportunity to wear it," he noted.

"It's a challenge because of what the No.10 represents. Leo had it, Ronaldinho had it... if you're at Barcelona, you have to be ready for everything.

"It's the best club in the world and the No.10 is pressure, but being at Barcelona is pressure. Everyone has responsibility and you have to embrace it."
