Barcelona held transfer talks with Espanyol during Saturday's derby.

Barca enjoyed a comfortable victory and took advantage of their meeting to ask about Espanyol fullback Aaron Martin.

The young left-sided defender has emerged as one of Spanish football's brightest new talents and has attracted scouts from across Europe to watch him since the New Year.

Real Madrid are also interested in Martin, while Barca asked about his situation on Saturday.
