Barcelona and Real Betis thrashing out terms for Juan Miranda

Barcelona and Real Betis are thrashing out terms for Juan Miranda.

Miranda spent last season on-loan at Real Betis and Barca are set to trigger a two-year contract option before selling him this summer.

Mateu Alemany, Barcelona's director of football, and Lopez Catalan, Betis's vice-president, were meeting to seal the deal on Wednesday.

The agreement over Emerson is completely separate. First they will settle the Miranda situation and then tackle Emerson, where both clubs are sharing rights to him.

Miranda came through at Betis before joining Barca's youth academy. He's had a strong season, earning Manuel Pellegrini's confidence and starting a lot of games.

He's also with Spain U21s and excited about continuing his career with Betis.
