Barcelona have added a second scouting target to their River Plate interest.

Barca are watching striker Exequiel Palacios, while Sport says River defender Gonzalo Montiel is also on their radar.

Right-back Montiel, 21, and Palacios are expected to start in today's clash with Gremio. It will mark Montiel's debut in the Copa Libertadores.

The youngster's contract carries a buyout clause of €20m.

Both players would be initially considered for Barcelona B.
