Ivan Rakitic was delighted to prove Barcelona's matchwinner for victory at Real Madrid.
On Wednesday, the Blaugrana booked their passage into the Copa del Rey final with a 3-0 victory, and followed that with a 1-0 triumph on Saturday.
"There aren't many teams in the world that can win here twice in three days," he explained after the match.
"We're very proud of the work we've done.
"It was deserved, we had to fight and we did just that."
Ernesto Valverde was left concerned by his team's inability to retain possession in the midweek clash and instead elected to start Arthur in the second encounter between the two teams within a week, signifying a clear change of strategy.
"We started very well, creating chances and were comfortable," Rakitic said of the performance.
"They pressed in the second half, but we were able to close them down well."
