Barcelona ace Lionel Messi has been fined for his tribute to Diego Maradona in victory over Osasuna.
Sport says the competition committee has issued Messi a 600 euro fine for his tribute to Maradona on Sunday.
The Barcelona forward whipped off his shirt against Osasuna and showed a Newell's Old Boys top, in honour of the Argentine legend's memory.
Barcelona were fined 3,350 euros and now Messi has been punished too - although the maximum punishment is 3,000 euros.
Referee Mateu Lahoz included in his report of the game a description of Messi taking his shirt off and the booking he received for it.
