Manchester United have informed agents for Philippe Coutinho the Barcelona midfielder isn't a summer priority.

The Independent says intermediaries have contacted the Old Trafford club about the potential of signing Coutinho, who is currently struggling at Barcelona.

United do not feel they need to prioritise his position, though, and instead want players further forward.

Borussia Dortmund starlet Jadon Sancho fits the profile, and United are prepared to make a move of over £80m this summer.

Dortmund have been greatly satisfied with the development of the English teenager this season, and would prefer to keep him until the summer of 2020.
