Former Real Madrid midfielder Julio Baptista is backing their bid for his Cruzeiro teammate Lucas Silva.
Baptista has won back-to-back titles alongside Lucas Silva in Brazil.
He told AS: "He is an amazing player. He is Brazilian but he is the player here who most fits the European profile. He is a midfielder who has a great feel of the ball and that's why he's being noticed. He is very talented and he is very young.
"If he starts doing at Madrid what he has been doing here he will be one of the biggest names in football in no time at all. He is a very complete player."
