Suspended Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk made a beeline for Jarell Quansah after victory over Wolves.
The young defender stepped in for Van Dijk and impressed after a shaky start to help the Reds to a come from behind 3-1 win.
At the final whistle, Van Dijk waited on the touchline to greet and congratulate his teammates on the triumph.
And the Dutchman gave Quansah an extended hug when seeing the youngster after being left impressed by the young centre-half.
Indeed for many, Quansah outshone his more experienced defensive partner Joel Matip on the day.
