Crystal Palace midfielder Barry Bannan admits the players wanted to beat Hull City for caretaker boss Keith Millen.
Millen is now stepping aside for new manager Tony Pulis.
Bannan revealed: "He just said, he's in charge today, it's a big game and we can win, so go out there and show confidence and play. Put a smile on your face and get a win. And I think the boys were determined to go out there and win a game for Keith after his last game in charge; he's been brilliant since he stepped in and we've got to say a big thank you." Bannan was speaking on Absolute Radio's Rock 'N' Roll Football with Ian Wright, Saturdays from 5pm. For more, visit absoluteradio.co.uk/football
