Leeds United striker Patrick Bamford was happy to hit a hat-trick for the U21s on Friday night against Southampton.
The forward played the majority of the match and scored an excellent hat-trick as Michael Skubala's side ran out 6-2 winners against their previously unbeaten opposition.
With the last two first team matches being called off for the Whites, Bamford was pleased to get some minutes under his belt along with some of his senior teammates.
He told the Leeds website: “It was good for us to get some minutes, as we've obviously missed a few games.
“The main thing was that we wanted to win the game and help the Under-21s as much as we can, and yeah, we managed to do that so it was a good night.
“It's my job to score goals so I try to do it every game! It's always nice to come off the pitch with three.
“I feel good - it's just about getting the minutes and the consistency of game after game to get into the swing of things and get your body used to it again."
