Leon Balogun is pleased with how he has contributed to Brighton's success this season.

With the team up in 13th place and trying to steer clear of any relegation fight, Balogun knows the effort from all players must continue.

As they head into a tough game against Arsenal, Balogun spoke about his impact since joining the team in May.

"[I want to] play as much as possible, to stay fit and healthy," the Nigeria international said to the Evening Standard.

"Of course, to maintain [Brighton's place] in the Premier League [too].

"So far, we are playing quite a good season. With those performances against a top side like Chelsea, I think it's very promising.

"We just want to get as many points as possible, save the league early and then everything that comes on top is just a bonus."
