Former Chelsea midfielder Michael Ballack feels Toni Kroos is right to delay committing to a new contract at Bayern Munich. Kroos is a top target for Manchester United boss David Moyes and currently unhappy with Bayern's latest contract offer.
Ballack remarked: "I think he checks his market value.
"He will know where he is in the salary structure. That's important to demonstrate the value he has.
"It is perfectly legitimate that he look around."
United are prepared to outbid Bayern in a contract battle for the Germany international.
