Tottenham star Gareth Bale admits his young teammate Joe Rodon is improving.

The Welsh veteran is in his second spell at Spurs, on loan from Real Madrid for the season.

While Rodon has not played as much in recent weeks, Bale believes the young defender is getting better with every training session.

Asked about Rodon, Bale said during a Twitch Q&A: "I've seen a difference and he's improving a lot."

Rodon himself added: "I think going up against top players is only going to improve me and make me better for future.

"I'll never know, who knows, until I go away with the national team and see a difference as in the level.

"Only training with top players like that is going to improve me and make it better for me."
