Bailly posts message to Man Utd fans after being forced off for FA Cup win

Manchester United defender Eric Bailly has assured fans he's okay after being forced off in their FA Cup win against Watford.

Bailly received treatment after colliding with Dean Henderson and was eventually replaced by Harry Maguire as the Reds secured passage to the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 1-0 win over the Championship side.

The centre-back has been in good form recently but his substitution prompted fears another injury might stall his stop-start career at Old Trafford.

Yet Bailly told fans he is fine in a message on Twitter: "Good job by the team to advance in the FA Cup. I am OK, it was just a knock."

United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also said after the match: "It's his neck, I think. His head's fine but I've not spoken to him. There's no concussion or anything like that."
