Watford goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann has vowed to fight for his place in Javi Gracia's side.

The Austrian is returning to the Premier League club after an impressive loan campaign with Kilmarnock.

"I'm keen to push on. I'm coming back on July 1 with the others and I'm looking forward to the challenge," said Bachmann.

"Obviously I know Ben [Foster] has had an incredible season. It will be tough to get past him but football is all about competition and waiting for your chance. I think the competition will do us both good and I'm ready to play."
