AZ Alkmaar winger Steven Berghuis is open to moving to Watford.

AZ are seeking €6 million to sell Berghuis, which is well within Watford boss Quique Sanchez Flores' transfer budget.

However, he still needs to be convinced.

"Before I sign, I want to first make sure they have plenty of opportunities to survive in the Premier League and what they have in mind for me," Berghuis told De Telegraaf.

"So I'm flattered by the interest of Watford, but I'm not going to jump into joining a club of that level without first considering everything."
