AZ Alkmaar chief Max Huiberts has hinted Tottenham remain favourites to land Vincent Janssen.

The Holland striker has held talks with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino and is keen to see the move happen.

However, Spurs, despite making three bids, are yet to settle on terms with AZ.

PSG have also been linked, but Huiberts told Voetbal International: "There is absolutely nothing changed with the situation around Janssen.

"I read that Paris Saint-Germain would be interested, but we know nothing about it. PSG has not reported to us. No, they have not asked for information."

He added: "Claims I have announced the fee we want are nonsense."
