Watford have reportedly reached an agreement with AZ Alkmaar for the transfer of 23-year-old forward Steven Berghuis.

Berghuis has left AZ's pre-season training camp in Garderen to travel to England and discuss personal terms with the newly promoted Premier League outfit, according to reports on goal.com.

Berghuis is a Dutch Under 21 international who scored 11 goals in 22 Eredivisie matches for AZ last season.

The former FC Twente and VVV-Venlo winger will become Quique Sanchez Flores' ninth summer signing, following Giedrius Arlauskis, Valon Behrami, Miguel Britos, Etienne Capoue, Jose Holebas, Marco Motta, Allan Nyom and Sebastian Prodl to Vicarage Road.
