Athletic Bilbao were stunned 2-1 by Europa League opponents AZ Alkmaar.

Markus Henriksen and Eneko Bóveda's own goal put AZ Alkmaar two up on visitors Athletic Club, with Aritz Aduriz's strike only being a consolation.

It was a fine goal from the Bilbao forward, but wasn't enough, and Athletic have now just one of their last eight European away matches.

They are also now seven away games without a win this season, and level on points with the Dutch side on three points in group L.
