Jozy Altidore continued his brilliant form this season with a goal in AZ Alkmaar's 4-1 win at VVV-Venlo on Friday.
The American striker got on the end of a long ball before advancing into the area and then sliding home in the 62nd minute to make it 3-1 to his side.
Adam Maher and Uche Nwofor traded blows either side of half-time before AZ took charge with second-half goals from Donny Gorter, Altidore and Etienne Reijnen to move up to ninth on the Eredivisie table.
Altidore, who has 19 goals in all competitions, has now scored 15 league goals this season to sit second behind Vitesse Arnhem's Wilfried Bony on the scorers chart.
