Australia's Neill a Ronaldo fan but Osieck prefers Messi

Australia captain Lucas Neill voted for Cristiano Ronaldo to win the 2012 FIFA Ballon d'Or.

The complete list of votes for the world's best player award have been released with international captains and coaches having their selections revealed to the wider football community.

Former West Ham United and Blackburn Rovers skipper Neill gave his lot of five votes to Real Madrid and Portugal star Ronaldo whilst selecting Robin van Persie in second place and eventual winner Lionel Messi as his third pick.

Socceroos manager Osieck got his top three correct, although second and third were the wrong way around, with Messi first ahead of Andres Iniesta and Ronaldo.

Barcelona star Messi clinched his fourth straight Ballon d'Or ahead of Ronaldo and Iniesta.
