Australia coach Postecoglou ponders losing three goal lead

Australia lost 4-3 to Ecuador in London after leading 3-0 at half-time and had substitute keeper Mitchell Langerak dismissed shortly after the break. After the match, Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou said the new generation of his team would learn "some useful lessons of what you can and can't do".

"We made some mistakes, but as I said it's a good lesson in what you can and can't do," he told Fox Sports.

"I have absolute belief in what our players can do. The first half was very good. They underestimated us a little bit, but ultimately it's about a 90 minute performance."
