Major League Soccer (MLS) expansion franchise Austin FC have named outdoor lifestyle chain Yeti as their inaugural shirt sponsor,reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The multi-year deal, which also designates Yeti as a founding partner of the club, will see the Austin-based brand's logo appear on the front of the franchise's first team and academy jerseys when they begin play in 2021.

Yeti's branding will also be incorporated within Austin's digital esports jerseys and on future versions of the FIFA video game.

"Yeti has established itself as an Austin icon," said Austin president Andy Loughane. "Yeti is an internationally acclaimed brand with passionate supporters who lead active lifestyles and embody the creative energy often found in our sport and widely found in Austin."
