Aussies in the UK this weekend

There will be plenty of Australians plying their trade in the United Kingdom this weekend.

Brad Jones will be out to hang on to his post as number one goalkeeper at Middlesbrough when they travel to Manchester City for a vital clash.

In Blackburn, Vince Grella will fly the flag with Brett Emerton confirmed injured for up to nine months.

The Rovers play host to Aston Villa who are flying at the minute.

Richard Garcia and Hull City face the daunting task of travelling to Stamford Bridge to face a wounded Chelsea outfit with the Aussie striker likely to be used off the bench.

Everton will be hoping Tim Cahill can produce some magic at Goodison Park when Bolton come to town.

The Toffees are currently sitting 6th on the table and will be out to bridge the gap on 5th placed Arsenal who are six points ahead.

Mark Viduka is expected to return to the fray when Newcastle United meet West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns and Mark Schwarzer will be out to keep a clean sheet against Wigan at the JJB stadium.

Scott McDonald and Celtic host second division club Queen's Park in the fifth round of the Scottish Cup as Danny Invincibile's Kilmarnock travel to Inverness for the same competition.

In the English Championship, Crystal Palace and Nick Carle will be looking for maximum points when they meet Barnsley at Oakwell Stadium whilst Adrian Leijer will hope to make his debut for Norwich City and join David Carney in the Canary colours when they host Bristol City.

Ruben Zadkovic may start for Derby County against Plymouth as Adam Federici will be pressing his claims for a future Socceroos berth when he takes the gloves against Preston at the Madejski Stadium.
