Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy plans a move for Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou next week.
Levy has been impressed by the Australian after doing research on the former South Melbourne Hellas left-back and is now ready to formalise his interest.
The London Evening Standard says Levy will seek talks with Celtic and Postecoglou next week after the Scottish Cup final.
Driving the interest is new football chief exec Scott Munn, a fellow Aussie who knows Postecoglou.
Postecoglou has a year on his Hoops deal and while at 57 he doesn't fit the profile Levy had been seeking, Munn has managed to convince the chairman to take a fresh look.
