Celtic midfielder Tom Rogic has played down rumours suggesting he could leave Parkhead this summer.

The Australian international hit back at reports indicating he was actively seeking a move away from the Scottish Premiership club and that he had rejected offers of a new deal.

"I know there was a story today suggesting that I want to leave Celtic," Rogic told Celtic's official website.

"This is simply not the case at all.

"I am really enjoying my time at Celtic and I am proud to be part of such a great football club.

"I want to extend my contract with Celtic. I am speaking to the club just now and hopefully this will be agreed very soon."
