Aulas steps aside as Lyon president after 36 years; Crystal Palace stake holder Textor takes charge

Jean-Michel Aulas is stepping down as Olympique Lyon president.

Aulas leaves the position after 36 years and is replaced by John Textor, the club's majority shareholder. Textor also holds a key stake in Crystal Palace.

OL announced the change this morning.

Lyon won over 50 titles during Aula's time as president.

Aulas sold a majority share of the club to Textor in December 2022.
