Augsburg defender Felix Uduokhai is a target for Newcastle United this month.
TMW says Newcastle are seeking two centre-half signings in January and Uduokhai is high on the agenda.
Newcastle have already made contact with Augsburg for Uduokhai in the last 24 hours.
Indeed, Newcastle are prepared to offer €25m for the defender, who is also interesting Napoli.
Augsburg are reluctant to lose Uduokhai midway through the season.
