Augsburg fullback Abdul Rahman Baba is a step closer to signing for Chelsea.

Augsburg general manager Stefan Reuter has told Sky Deutschland that Rahman Baba has had a medical ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea.

The 21-year-old has been a target for the Blues for a number of weeks and sources understand the fee will be over £20m.

Baba will arrive to fill the void left by Filipe Luis after his move to Atletico Madrid.
