Augsburg are chasing Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius.

The Sun says Karius is wanted by German club Augsburg — which is giving Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a headache.

The keeper, 23, has struggled at Anfield since arriving last year and has made just 10 Premier League appearances.

Karius, currently on holiday in Miami, still has a good reputation in his homeland despite his troubles at Liverpool where his form cost him his place after an attempt to push Simon Mignolet aside.

Liverpool do not want to give up on Karius — who cost them £4.7million when he joined from Mainz.

But the interest from Augsburg has held up their transfer deals.
