Mesut Ozil has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal.

BILD says the German playmaker is out of contract at the end of the season but talks have been ongoing for some time.

Arsene Wenger was confident he would agree an extension and the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reportedly had an effect.

Ozil has agreed the new contract at the Emirates and has been impressed with Arsenal's January transfer dealings.

They lost Alexis Sanchez to Manchester United but the deals for Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang have made him confident over the club's future.

Ozil also will marry his girlfriend and former Miss Turkey Amine Gulse.
