Arsenal have bounced back after a disappointing start to the season by claiming a 6-0 win over West Bromwich Albion in the Carabao Cup.
Mikel Arteta named a strong line-up at the Hawthorns, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and new signing Martin Odegaard named in the starting XI.
Conversely, Baggies boss Valerian Ismael fielded a team of youngsters, and it showed as Arsenal ran rampant against the Championship outfit.
Aubameyang broke the deadlock with a tap-in after 17 minutes and repeated the feat on the stroke of half-time.
Celebrations after an Aubameyang goal
A goal from Nicolas Pepe in first-half injury time saw Arsenal take a 3-0 lead into the break.
Bukayo Saka and Pepe then opened their accounts for the season with two superb finishes to make it 5-0.
Aubameyang rounded off his hat-trick with a sublime finish for his third goal after 62 minutes.
Aaron Ramsdale also made his debut for Arsenal
It was a much needed boost for the Gunners after losing against Brentford and Chelsea in their opening two Premier League matches.
They will now take some confidence heading into a tough clash with Manchester City at the Etihad on Saturday.
