Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang admits he feared he wouldn't get along with Alexandre Lacazette at Arsenal.

The strike-pair were rivals in France where Aubameyang was playing for St Etienne as Lacazette was coming through at Lyon.

"My friend Lacazette was in Lyon when I was in Saint-Etienne. He is a player that I appreciate, he was generous with me when I arrived, he is a good person, he is a positive person," said Aubameyang.

"I was not sure of him 100% when I arrived because I did not get along with some players from Lyon. But I had no problem with him when I faced them.

"I'm really happy to know someone so positive, he helped me fit into the locker room."
