Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco has spoken of his blow-up against Alaves.

Carrasco, when hooked by coach Diego Simeone, kicked a water bottle in clear defiance towards his coach.

"Sorry to the coach? I asked for forgiveness, but they are things of mine, I have character, they are things that can happen and they do not have to be repeated," he said after victory over Celta Vigo.

It was also claimed the Belgian was unhappy being played out of position.

But he added: "I have never said that I do not want to play on the right wing."
