A move to Atletico Madrid for Edinson Cavani is far from certain, according to the PSG striker's camp.

It's emerged in Italy that Cavani has agreed a three-year contract with Atletico as his current deal at PSG runs down in June.

However, asked about the reports on Madrid radio, a representative from Cavani's entourage warned a move to Atletico is not yet settled.

Indeed, the source insisted Cavani has no less than 20 offers for June, some far greater than what both Atletico are offering and the €10m-a-year he is on at PSG.

But a move in January to Atletico has also not been ruled out, with the Spanish giants weighing up whether to bid for the veteran in the coming weeks.
