Atletico Madrid are interested in Valencia wing-back Daniel Wass.

AS says the Denmark international is under consideration at the LaLiga champions after the departure of Kieran Trippier for Newcastle United.

Atletico coach Diego Simeone wants a replacement signed and Wass has long been admired by the Argentine.

Valencia could be willing to part with Wass for around €1m.

The Dane's current deal runs to June and VCF are prepared to sell this month.
