Atletico Madrid title winner Luis Suarez has taken aim at Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman and former president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
Suarez was shown the door at Barca last summer by Koeman on orders from Bartomeu.
“I will always be grateful to Barcelona, but they used me. I had no problem. At first, Koeman said he was no longer counting on me, but got back to that later. 'If it's not resolved tomorrow, I'll count on you', he said. There I saw that Koeman has no personality. I didn't understand much of that. Anyway, the decision came from above and not from the trainer," Suárez told COPE.
"The president had said all kinds of things in the media instead of calling me myself.
"When they wanted (Lionel) Messi to stay, they called me and asked if I could convince him. I had to do the same with Griezmann.
"Why didn't they call me when they wanted me to leave? Let them come to me and explain. Or that the trainer comes to me to say that he no longer counts on me and wants to get another striker. When I had to train separately, it was very difficult.
"Bartomeu or no one else from Barcelona congratulated me on the league title, but I was about to send a photo."
