Atletico Madrid are eyeing a move for Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka.
With Rodrigo ready to quit this summer, Atletico must move quickly for a replacement and are turning to Xhaka, says Mundo Deportivo.
The Switzerland international actually held talks with Atletico three years ago before leaving Borussia Monchengladbach for the Gunners.
And it's suggested Arsenal would be willing to sell with manager Unai Emery overloaded for options in his position.
Just over the weekend in Kosovo, Xhaka denied reports of talks with Inter Milan: "They've been writing newspapers, but nothing is true.
"This is just speculation and I do not have any contact with the Inter club."
