Chelsea are being linked with a summer splurge despite winning the 2014/15 Premier League title.
The Daily Mirror reports that Jose Mourinho wants to overhaul his title-winning squad in the summer as he goes about planning a dynasty at Stamford Bridge.
At the top of his transfer hit-list is Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann and Real Madrid centre-half Raphael Varane.
Mourinho is believed to be a big admirer of the up-and-coming French stars and could go after both of them in the summer transfer window.
Also believed to be in the Blues' plans is Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, who is pondering his future at the Stade de Gerland, and Getafe goalkeeper Vicente Guaita who is seen as a perfect back-up for Thibaut Courtois if number two Petr Cech leaves west London as expected he will.
