Atletico Madrid are ready to make a revised move for PSG striker Edinson Cavani.

Atletico coach Diego Simeone is a big fan of the Uruguay international and would welcome his arrival this summer.

Cadena Cope says Atletico chiefs are prepared to discuss a swap with PSG involving Diego Costa.

Interestingly, it's suggested Simeone has approved the move, despite his support of Costa. The striker's season is over after being banned for eight games for his dismissal at Barcelona a fortnight ago.

And with several board members having lost confidence in Costa a swap involving Cavani could suit all parties.
