Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists they'll keep any disciplinary action against Rodrigo de Paul in-house.
It's emerged the midfielder had permission to spend time in Argentina, but instead was spotted in Miami.
Asked today about the situation, Cerezo said: "I say it very clearly, it is an issue between De Paul and us. That's all I will say.
"It is an issue between him and us. What happens outside of here is of no interest to anyone except the club and him. The rest is clear. Let everyone think what they want..."
Cerezo also commented on Antoine Griezmann and how talks with parent club Barcelona are progressing.
He said, "Life goes on the same, let's hope he plays well after 60 minutes, which is what we want. Always in football you are negotiating..."
