Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo insists he didn't hear any barracking of Antoine Griezmann during defeat to Barcelona.

The Frenchman made his first return to the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday since his controversial move to Barcelona in the summer.

"I didn't hear those chants towards Griezmann," Cerezo told El Transistor.

"Such insults at stadiums need to be eradicated.

"Griezmann always lived up to the circumstances [while at the club] and both me and the rest of the Atletico supporters wish him the best and to be as happy as he was at Atletico Madrid."
