Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo admits he'd like to re-sign Antoine Griezmann.

Cerezo sold Griezmann to Barcelona two seasons ago for €120m.

He said, "He is a magnificent player, hopefully we can get him back, but I don't think Barça wants to sell Griezmann. He's in the elite.

"Any team is crazy to have Griezmann. He had magnificent seasons here and was consecrated at Atlético. He's a friend."

On Griezmann's replacement, Joao Felix, Cerezo added: "The day he takes off will be one of the most important on the football planet. The players are not machines, they have good and bad days. He will give many afternoons of glory at this club."
