Atletico Madrid have made a move for Deportivo La Coruna left-back Luis Filipe.

The Brazilian, a former Real Madrid Castilla starlet, has fully recovered from a horrific ankle injury suffered in midseason.

Atletico are prepared to offer £7 million for Filipe and will include a player in their bid. Ignacio Camacho and striker Diego Costa, who was with Real Valladolid last season, have been mentioned.

Deportivo are prepared to sell Filipe, but are hoping for more offers to arrive to drive up his asking price.
